The question is, are electronic cigarettes more safe than smoking traditional cigarettes? That question has not been fully investigated and smokers should be warned that while smoking an electronic cigarette with lower levels of nicotine is better than that of a real cigarette it could still be addictive. You can surly try an electronic cigarette with no nicotine in it that you still give you the act of smoking without the bad stuff added.
The American Association of Public Health Physicians gives electronic cigarettes a thumbs up and they say that second hand smoke can be decreased by using these types of cigarettes. Health Canada is on the other side of these cigarettes as they say that these can cause addictive behaviors. The World Health Organization also sided with Health Canada and wanted these cigarettes to be banned. The Boston University School Of Health made a statement in 2010 saying that the use of an electronic cigarette were safer than real cigarettes. As you can see the ideals of these cigarettes is pretty much cut in half by those that are for them and against them.
Each country seems to have their own views on electronic cigarettes and their use. Australia classifies electronic cigarettes as poison while Brazil and China bans any form of using them. In Denmark, electronic cigarettes are looked at for medicinal uses and in Finland; these cigarettes can be purchased online only. Other places consider electronic cigarettes completely legal like in South Korea and the United Kingdom.
